Frischkorn

Susanne Frischkorn, the poet we had the honer performing with on Friday night, wrote sweet words about our band and her experiences at Story/Stereo.

Her poetry reading was beautiful. She exuded confidence while still maintaining a softness in her voice. After reading a bit from Lit Windowpain, she delved into her more recent poem—giving the audience a sneak peak into her upcoming book of poetry.  The newer stuff seems a bit more youthful and spunky; I dig it.

Hillary hearts Roofwalkers. An instrumental version of our song Chin Music is used by the Dept of State for the Virtual Student Foreign Service. Among other things, the VSFS helps promote environmental and conservation curriculum planning and gender equality around the globe.

Next stop, Obama’s ipod.
